Varietal Focus: Falanghina


Most Falanghina is grown in Campania, in southern Italy, with a bit in Puglia and Abruzzo.  The vines thrive in the porous volcanic soils around Mount Vesuvius  and the warm Mediterranean climate.

Citrus-blossom, bitter orange aromas with classic apple and pear richness and spicy, mineral finish.

Pizza with pear, walnuts,  gorgonzola; Crispy orange beef with steamed broccoli; Baked chicken thighs with roasted red peppers
